More than ever, computer games are part of everyday culture. They are an established medium, form the center of divers subcultures, and since the late 1990s they also are the subject of intense artistic inquiry.
Verena Friedrich shows her work Vanitas Machine as part of ATELIER #51 at Pact Zollverein.
The seminar provides an overview of the evolution of geometry, beginning with the elements by Euklid. Relevant geometric constructions will be experienced hands-on and with the necessary equipment like ruler, compass and other tools.
