All objects operating on electricity are surrounded by electromagnetic fields. A sensor measures the electromagnetic power present in a specific spectrum and translates the power value to the opening/closing behavior of a servo-controlled valve. The valve controls the stream of air piped into a soap sud. Electromagnetic activity therefore is translated into the growth and shrinking of temporal structures made of foam. These structures loosely resemble the electromagnetic fields measured by the sensor, thus giving them ephemeral physical form.
