As part of the Weather Tunnel Project at Translife Triennial in Beijing, China, two works from the Academy of Media Arts Cologne are shown: Blind Spots by Susanna Schoenberg and the Solar Wind Periscope by Jonas Hansen and Lasse Scherffig.

Working with code and material, artists, designers and architects face similar problems but treat differing questions and draw on diverse traditions and methodologies. In a meeting at Bauhaus-University Weimar, students of Lab3, Weimar (design of medial environments/art), FH-Mainz (design, time based media, interior architecture) and FH-Ansbach (multimedia) come together to discuss and share artistic strategies, technological approaches and concrete objects.

The piece › active by Jongwon Choi is part of the exhibition of the second Festival for Applied Acoustics in Cologne.

Two projects from Lab3 are part of PIXELACHE festival on the Soumenlinna island in Finland: Laura Popplow and Tine Tillmann present their project FUNGIFICTION // FUNGUTOPIA in the exhibition of the festival. Jakob Penca and Lasse Scherffig will present the Flux Map Framework within the workshop „Mapping in Progress“.
