Footsteps Canon is an interactive sound installation which is activated by walking action of people. When people walk on the catwalk, sensors react to the footsteps, and make the electric sounds which imitate the walking rhythm emit from the speaker system.

The term LEAK describes an area within the architecture at which there is a kind of permeability.

This leak is at the same time cultural and technical in nature. On one hand it encompasses the frequencies of different sources relevant for communication as for example TV, radio, WLAN or said mobiles. On the other hand, from the cultural point of view, it also encompasses the contents transported via the broadband frequencies. The cultural leak is extended by the individual biographies and certain aspects of prison culture, which subsequently seeps into world outside and takes roots.

Ludwig Zeller successfully submitted a short paper to the Design Vignettes track of CHI 2009 in Boston, USA, where he will present a prototype of his diploma thesis.

Das Lab3 wird renoviert. Mit dem kommenden Semester im April gibt es dann mehr Platz zum Löten, Programmieren, Basteln, Lernen, Reden und Kickern. Bis dahin bleibt das Lab3 geschlossen.
